About
The idea for the MBA Fieldhouse was conceived years ago, as members discussed the advantage for a year round hitting facility. As a plan began to develop the MBA was able to purchase land for the future site of the fieldhouse. As plans began to become a reality, a vision of the fieldhouse started coming into view. More than just a hitting facility, we wanted to create a safe space for youth and members of the community to come and build connections while also honing their athletic skills. This 100' x 60' site will have 24/7 access capabilities, fully heated and air conditioned, an on site bathroom, with potential to have 4 batting cages with machines for baseball and softball. These nets will be able to be pulled back for extra space to work on soccer skills, throwing a football and baseball fielding. With added nets for golf practice and an area to sit and connect with other members the MBA Fieldhouse will be an amazing resource for all members of the community we serve.
Membership
Fieldhouse access will be available to all members of The Morris Baseball Association with a purchase of a MBA membership and fieldhouse addon. Rental and lane or site reservations will be available for all members and non-members to host parties, camps, clinics, or lessons for a small fee.
All cost will be kept to a minimum to cover operating and maintenance costs.
